Dr. Chelsea Foster is a life-long learner. She is a PreK-20 educational leader who loves to work with youth and the young at heart. She has been an educator for over 25 years in various capacities as needed. She had led as the Head of school, served and led on Boards, participated in several accredition teams, and helped individuals and organizations to navigate micro and macro changes. Dr. Chelsea is a certified Spanish, ESL, English, and History teacher. In addition, she has certifications in public school administration and in Human Resource Management. Dr. Chelsea is also a published author and a writing coach. She understands the unique dynamics of education in the traditional public school, charter school and private school sectors. Her doctoral research and expertise has focused on how educational leaders provide sound educational opportunities for marginalized communities despite political, economic and race challenges. Dr. Chelsea is a proud alumna of the following institutions: West Chester University, the University of Puerto Rico, LaSalle University, Villanova University and Eastern University. Her philosophy of education is greatly impacted by the perspective of the Teacher as Servant Leader (Greenleaf, 1979). Dr. Chelsea lives with her husband in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and they have raised four accomplished young adults.
