Who is Dr. Chelsea?
Dr. Chelsea Foster is a life-long learner. She is a PreK-20 educator who loves to work with youth and the young at heart. She has been teaching for over 25 years in various capacities as needed. She is a certified Spanish, ESL, English, and History teacher. In addition, she has certifications in public school administration and in Human Resource Management. Dr. Chelsea is also a published author and a dissertation advisor. She understands the unique dynamics of education in the traditional public school, charter school and private school sectors. Her doctoral research and expertise has focused on how educational leaders provide sound educational opportunities for marginalized communities despite political, economic and race challenges. Dr. Chelsea is a proud alumna of the following institutions: West Chester University, the University of Puerto Rico, LaSalle University, Villanova University and Eastern University. Her philosophy of education is greatly impacted by the perspective of the Teacher as Servant Leader (Greenleaf, 1979). Dr. Chelsea lives with her husband and their four young adults in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
