Dr. Chelsea Cutting Foster is the Head of School for Valley Christian School in Huntingdon Valley, PA. She is a PreK-20 educator who loves to work with youth and the young at heart. She has been an educator for over 25 years in various capacities as called upon. She is a certified K-12 Spanish, ESL, English, and History teacher. In addition, she has certifications in public school administration and in Human Resource Management. Dr. Chelsea is also a published author and a dissertation advisor. She understands the unique dynamics of education in the traditional public school, charter school and private school sectors. Her doctoral research and expertise has focused on how educational leaders provide sound educational opportunities for marginalized communities despite political, economic and race challenges. Dr. Chelsea is a proud alumna of the following institutions: West Chester University, the University of Puerto Rico, LaSalle University, Villanova University and Eastern University. Her philosophy of education is greatly impacted by the perspective of the Teacher as Servant Leader (Greenleaf, 1979) and the Educare philosophy that learning outcomes are greater when students are supported by a combination of stakeholders. ​Dr. Chelsea lives with her husband and their four teenagers in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
